I've been navigating the complex world of international trade since 2013. I've had countless clients approach me with requests like, 'Willow, can you help me source product A?' or 'Can you find me a supplier for product B?' One client from Honduras, in particular, stood out. He needed assistance sourcing a wide range of products, from adult products and office supplies to medical equipment, construction materials, and electronics.
Despite frequently attending the Canton Fair in China and numerous exhibitions in Hong Kong, he faced several challenges. Language barriers often hindered effective communication, and many factories would intentionally inflate prices. More importantly, his busy schedule made it difficult to focus on the tedious tasks of finding manufacturers, requesting quotes, sourcing freight forwarders, and tracking shipments.
After assisting him for some time, I realized that many other importers or FBA sellers must be facing similar challenges. Some may need to purchase small quantities of various products from suppliers located in different regions, while others may require inspection services, consolidation, product design, e-commerce image shoots, or even help with managing multiple supplier payments.
